Easy step to Chinese for young kids (Level 1-Level 4) • The primary goal of this “Easy Steps to Chinese for Kids” is to help total beginners, particularly children from a non-Chinese background, build a solid foundation for learning Chinese as a foreign language. •The courses are designed to emphasize the development of communication skills in listening and speaking, and the language materials are carefully selected and relevant to children of this age group. Recognizing characters and writing characters are also the focus of this course. •Each lesson has a song using all the new words and sentences. •Chinese culture is introduced in a fun way. This course consists of 8 books, which cover 4 levels. Level 2A In total 10 classes, kids will complete the following lessons: • Count from 21-40 • Sentence structure “I have…” • Friends • Toys • What do you love to do? • What can you do? • Colors 2 • Chinese culture (The story of Nian) and review of lessons learned Kids also will be able to : • Write more Chinese characters • Recognize 38 Chinese words • Sing 8 Chinese songs Level 2B In total 10 classes, kids will complete the following lessons: • Today is Monday • What time is it? • Stationery • My classroom • Animals • Big or small • Snacks • Chinese culture (Dragon boat festival) Kids also will be able to : • Write more Chinese characters • Recognize 45 Chinese words • Sing 8 Chinese songs along to the lessons Total 20 Classes x $15 = $300 L2A (10 Classes)-L2B (10 Classes)
