Bio

My name is Ling Yin, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 20th year of mandarin teaching & online tutoring.

I grew up in Shandong, China and graduated with a Bachelor of arts in Chinese Language and Literature from SHANDONG NORMAL UNIVERSITY, SD, CHINA.

I began my teaching career as lecturer then later became the Director of Teaching & Research Sector at Shandong Chemical Career College, SD, China.

I was responsible for Chinese teaching, Mandarin Language training and testing and Supervising 8 lecturers on teaching plan, administration and achievement evaluation and responsible for Mandarin Language training and testing for more than 500 students per year.

Since 2011, I have been a Mandarin Language instructor at the TDSB & YRDSB international language program and instructed the Mandarin language for young children from JK to Grade 8 and was able to create a simple, yet challenging curriculum and taught different online multiple levels & provided clear structures for online lessons, maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.

Since 2019, I have enrolled as an online Mandarin language instructor. I managed to develop interactive online instructional programs to engage students in the learning process, prepared instruction materials based on student learning styles and interests and updated online course materials based on changing curriculum plans.

Currently, I live in Markham Ontario, I have two boys. I enjoy playing badminton, drawing, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
